Cars247 first brought the Koenigsegg Agera RS1 to your attention back in 2017 when it debuted at the New York Auto Show. The below is an extract from the very article to give you a refresher;

Revealed to the world at the New York Auto Show this week – this is the 1of1 Koenigsegg Agera RS1. The RS1 is the latest in an exclusive series of just 25 Koenigsegg Agera RS cars and its heading to America. The owner? well, the white colour should give it away, and if you are following us on Instagram you will know already that it belongs to Whitesse – Whitesse JR – the guys with the famous Bugatti Veyron Vitesse L’Orque Blanc. Where in America is it heading too? LA, obviously.
The White and Blue is a striking combination. The RS1 is finished in Arctic White with highlights in a specially selected shade of blue on the front winglets, side skirts, diffuser and rear wing. The interior is finished in blue Alcantara with contrasting polished carbon fiber and black anodized aluminum.
The RS1 features the more powerful version of Koenigsegg’s 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8, producing 1,360HP – 200HP more than the standard RS. It’s basically an RS with the engine out of the 1 MW Megacar Koenigsegg One:1. It’s matched to a seven-speed automatic gearbox and rear-wheel-drive, with a suite of traction and stability systems.
Koenigsegg say the RS1 can accelerate from 0-62mph in 2.8secs, and 0-186mph in 12.3secs. That is over a second quicker than the Bugatti Chiron we featured last week. Time to get the Chiron and the RS1 in the same room? let’s see what we can do. The $10M 1of1 Koenigsegg Agera RS1 has spent most of its life in sunny California along side its big brother the Bugatti Veyron Vitesse L’Orque Blanc. Those of you who follow the Cars247 Instagram will already know these are no garage queens and their owners are a credit to the car community. Owners who are willing to do the above with such priceless machinery is rare to say the least. That’s why we had to sit down with Whitesse JR and ask him a few questions;
How many countries has RS1 visited, and which is your favourite?
We’ve taken the Agera to Germany, Austria, United Arab Emirates, United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Sweden, Denmark and Belgium so around 9 countries so far. If I have to choose a favorite, it would probably be the United Arab Emirates, specifically Dubai. Perfect roads, amazing scenery and the traffic is full of supercars.

What is it like driving the RS1 on public roads and what are peoples reaction?
Driving the RS1 on public roads feels incredibly special, a race car for the streets. The reactions are 50/50. Some that have absolutely no idea what it is and the others that do.

If you have to pick between RS1 and the Veyron which would you take?
If I had to choose between the Veyron and Agera RS, it would have to be the Koenigsegg. More power, lighter, sounds better and in my opinion, looks better too.

How would you describe the cars performance?
The Agera’s performance is unmatched. The fastest car on the planet. The way I can describe the difference between the 1160 HP and the 1400 HP when you run E85 with the car is the 1160 feels like lighting a piece of paper on fire. The burning gradually gets faster. With the 1400, it’s like lighting a firecracker. All of a sudden, the car shifts into warp speed and you feel like you’re going a million miles per hour.

What car is joining the garage next?
The next big time car joining the collection is the Koenigsegg Regera however there is something even better that will be joining sometime in the near future. You’ll have to stay tuned to see what it is.
