If you ask Koenigsegg nicely and stump up Lottery win money, they will build you a special. A 1of1. Pasin Lathouras – A GT Racer – did just that, and this is the result. The Koenigsegg Naraya. Built and unveiled by Koenigsegg mid-2016 you may have seen this car before. Especially as it’s usually parked in the middle of London. Officially known as the Koenigsegg Agera RS Naraya. Our guy London Automotive gets us up close and personal with this awesome 1of1.
Pasin is famously open with his Naraya, living in London and drives this car daily. It is not parked in storage lost to the world. A clear car enthusiast with a racing background Pasin understands the hype this car creates when it’s parked in Kensington. That means our guy London Automotive can capture it in the wild – doors up – the works. There’s no official word on Naraya’s cost, but we’d have to assume it’s a fair bit higher than the ‘standard’ Agera RS starting price of $2 million – which were all sold out pre-launch.
So what do you need to know about the Koenigsegg Naraya? Well, it is your typical Koenigsegg lunacy which you can read about here – 5.0l twin turbo V8 with a 7 speed paddle shift making 1160hp – you get the idea, but here is the main point you need to know about this 1of1.
The gold highlights were applied by hand by Ettore Callegaro. It took Ettore two weeks, working 12-hour days, six days a week. The Gold complimented by clear blue Carbon.
Inside, there’s blue Alcantara with gold piping and stitching, more gold leaf highlights and an 18-carat gold ‘Naraya’ nameplate with 155 diamonds created by Ada Diamonds in California. This makes the fact Pasin parks his Naraya in Kensington with the doors up for us even more special.
Think this is the only special to roll out of the Koenigsegg skunkworks? Think Again.
