This morning Mark Webber did the London commute in his Porsche 919 LMP1 and my what a sight!
The exercise was to promote the New Porsche Panamera Hybrid (behind) due to be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in the next few weeks.
The four-mile run took place around some of central London’s most iconic areas – taking in landmarks like the Houses of Parliament and Trafalgar Square before finishing just off Westminster Bridge.
With 900hp, no cooling, speed limits and a race clutch we can only imagine how hard this must of been to do. Not to mention the visibility is so poor you can’t see any curbs / pedestrians / big red buses. Porsche, Mark Webber, we salute you.
