Mercedes-AMG have revealed their latest GT Roadster ahead of its Paris Debut.
The AMG GT C roadster is powered by the brand’s familiar 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8.
550hp, 502 lb-ft of Torque, seven speed dual clutch gearbox. 0-60 in 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 197mph.
What is interesting is how those figures fit perfectly between the 503bhp GTS coupe and 577bhp GTR.
Think of the GTC as a less hardened GTR whilst still borrowing some of the best features most notably the rear arches and the wider track of the GTR. It also borrows chassis tech, with active rear steering an electronically controlled limited-slip diff. AMG’s adaptive dampers, a retuned dual-clutch transmission with new Race mode, and a switchable performance exhaust.
Official pricing for the GTC is yet to be announced, but it is expected to push past the £120,000 / $160,000 mark.
